Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Speech Smithy website and any optional account-authorisation features provided through the LWM Media Content Pipeline (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Services

Speech Smithy provides information, educational content and communication coaching services. Where enabled, the LWM Media Content Pipeline allows an authorised user to connect a creator account so that permitted profile, video and performance information can be read and used to support content management and analysis.

2. Account authorisation

You may connect only an account that you own or are authorised to manage. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for the accuracy of the permissions you grant. You may revoke a connected platform’s access through that platform’s account settings or by contacting us.

3. Permitted use

You must not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with their operation, infringe another person’s rights, or use them in breach of applicable law or a connected platform’s terms.

4. Third-party platforms

Connected services such as TikTok are operated by third parties and remain subject to their own terms, policies and availability. Speech Smithy does not control those third-party services.

5. Data and privacy

Personal information and connected-account data are handled in accordance with the Speech Smithy Privacy Policy. The developer integration requests only the permissions needed for its stated functions. We do not claim ownership of your connected-account content.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Speech Smithy name, branding, website material and original educational content are owned by or licensed to Speech Smithy. These terms do not transfer ownership of that material.

7. Availability and changes

The Services may change, be suspended or be withdrawn. We may update these terms when the Services or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Speech Smithy is not responsible for indirect loss or for interruptions or actions caused by third-party platforms.
